1 Puddle Pour on Large 40"x30" - Fluid Painting

1 Puddle Pour on Large 40 In this video I'm working on a 40"x30" level 3 canvas from Michael's. I pour my paints in 1 puddle and move around the canvas to fill it up and then let it rest. Afterwards I spray some diluted dish soap.

Products used:
- Artist Loft flow acrylics in black and white
- DecoArt satin enamels in black
- DecoArt Americana in Ultra Deep blue, True blue, Blue Harbor and Williamsburg blue
- Liquitex pouring medium
- Water
- Diluted dishsoap - water + dishsoap

For those of you wondering how this happens. How can black, which usually takes over, fill up the canvas and have cells pop up?
In this case it's a question of different brands reacting together.

The Americana's properties (which are unknown to me) have an ingredient that makes them overcome that black from Artist Loft which is BTW very cheap and very low pigment. It takes a LOT of water to bring it to the right consistency. As the Americana only needs a little bit. Because of this, I figure they're pigments are stronger and devour the Artist Loft so to speak.

Basically, the Americana takes over the black from Artist Loft when prepared, poured and moved around in a certain way.

Hope this helps!
