BSc (Hons) Health and Wellbeing Practitioner degree leads to NHS careers Dr Joe Layden introduces the new BSc (Hons) Health and Wellbeing Practitioner degree. It has been developed by Plymouth Marjon University in consultation with three NHS trusts to meet the increasing demand for NHS services. It will develop a different type of Health and Wellbeing professional to work within the NHS, leading to a range of NHS careers.

Students will get hands-on training at a range of on-campus Health and Wellbeing Clinics at Plymouth Marjon University. They will develop the skills to support patients with their overall wellbeing including physical, mental and social health, with the aim of improving patient support and reducing the burden on GP and Emergency services.
