HEAVY FLOODS IN KZN RESIDENTS CAUTIONED TO STAY AWAY FROM UNSAFE AREAS
EThekwini's Mayor Zandile Gumede has cautioned all residents to avoid high-risk areas and to be careful on the roads following continuous heavy rains that have ravaged most parts of the City. Gumede further shared that emergency services are faced with enormous pressure, as they attend to flood-related life-threatening emergencies and that the pressure has been worsened by people who are insisting on driving and getting themselves into unsafe situations. According to reports so far six people have been reported dead.
