Undercover DEA Agents were following a Hispanic male suspect.
They attempted to pull the suspect over and he fled, driving his Toyota SUV off of the street and entered a dirt lot and down into a canyon. The suspect lost control and almost hit a 10-year-old girl who was on a path in the canyon going home from school. The victim had to jump out of the way and injured herself in the fall. The suspect then fled east on Hilltop Dr.
The suspect was finally caught nearby by the SDPD.. The teenage girl was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
In the vehicle, DEA agents found 6 kilograms of fentanyl and 3 pounds of meth.
