Dramatic footage of fox hunting birds

Our member Robbie Hildred filmed this female fox, also known as a vixen, casually ignoring several Woodpigeons feeding nearby in his garden.

This is a common hunting strategy for foxes to lull their prey into a false sense of security by passing by over and over again, seemingly disinterested. When the pigeons were busy feeding she stalks her prey and launches her attack! Watch to find out if she's successful!
