Lincoln Center announced the 49th annual lineup for 2019 on Tuesday (May 14). The New York City festival will run from July 24 through August 11 filled with free concerts, events, and more. The bill is headlined by Grammy winning star H.E.R. and Samm Henshaw with MTV & Save The Music taking place on Aug. 8. "The tributes some of the groundbreaking artistry that has shaped artistic communities in New York City and beyond,” said Jill Sternheimer, director of public programming at Lincoln Center. "Everyone is welcome to enjoy incredible rising talents, classic works of film, music, dance, and more for magical nights under the stars in Damrosch Park." Out of Doors is jampacked with performances that also include appearances from Jeff Tweedy, Lalah Hathaway's tribute performance to her father Donny Hathaway, Patty Griffin, NPR Music's Turning the Tables featuring Rhiannon Giddens, Amina Claudine Myers, and Lizz Wright.
