It’s the row that’s engulfed a primary school in Birmingham. For the past seven weeks, Anderton Park Primary has seen demonstrations outside its gates from parents angry at the teachers for including same-sex relationships on the syllabus. The protesters claim that they should be able to use their own religion to teach their children. We’re joined by Shakeel Afsar who is spearheading the campaign, alongside Melissa Thompson, who says the protest makes ‘her blood boil’.
