The first step to basic cooking skills is knife skills – it begins with sharpening knives and cutting vegetables properly (read, without cutting your fingers!). Brett and Camilla also show you how to segment an orange and how to prepare an avocado – just like the pros.

Now for the fun stuff…this course will also show you step by step, how to make restaurant quality pizza dough, chicken stock, meringue, poached eggs, scrambled eggs, omelettes and mayonnaise. These are all great beginner skills that can be used when cooking other dishes as well.
Later in these tutorials, you will learn how to cook Mexican food, Italian food, easy chicken recipes, seafood recipes and divine French desserts such as fondant chocolate, apple tarte Tatin and passionfruit crème brûlèe.
Enjoy making entrées and appetizers like guacamole, cheese soufflé, French omelette, and rolled poached chicken and prawn empanadas. Plus you will learn to make pasta from scratch (it’s really easy!) and then add a wow factor by serving Beetroot Tortellini.
Add some magic to your mains with crispy skin Salmon, sautéed baby octopus, and grilled swordfish with roasted vegetable salad.
