Faculty Development Program (FDP)

Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMC), organised a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Use of ICT (Information Communication Technology) in Education’ at RSET Campus.
The resource person for the program was Dr. Sameer Sahasrabudhe, a Senior Project Research Scientist, at IIT Bombay (Mumbai). The FDP was divided into two sessions; Session I focused on adopting active learning in classrooms and to sustain the engagement of the learners in the class and Session II was focused on Think-Pair-Share (TPS) technique in the classroom.
The aim of the FDP was to acquaint the faculty to use ICT to make lectures interactive and engaging. The Faculty Development program also got participation from Head of departments of different colleges in Mumbai.
The session concluded with vote of thanks and distribution of participation certificates.
