Flying Scotsman over the River Thames with "The Steam Dreams Excursions" - 30/05/2019

Flying Scotsman over the River Thames with On Thursday 30th May 2019 the worlds famous 60103 'Flying Scotsman' took helm of 2 trips of the Surrey Hills from London Victoria organised by Steam Dreams Rail Co as part of its 2019 nationwide tour, this was without a doubt the best day for myself filming the Pacific

This video starts off at Streatham as 60103 takes the morning trip back to Victoria powering uphill away from the Brighton mainline as she lifts her unassisted 12 coach load through the station with ease

A couple of hours later after servicing at Willesden the locomotive reappeared again for an evening trip, firstly seen crossing over the River Thames at Chelsea Bridge nr Imperial Wharf, then after a stop at Kew Jc is seen storming through Feltham and finally just before sundown the A3 powers through Merstham Cutting heading towards the tunnel and eventually the capital, once again the loco was unassisted on its heavy load 12 and its easy to say she looked and sounded great at finally having a solo chance unaided!
