Legal Documents Show Randy Pitchford Shifting Borderlands Bonuses To Personal Company

Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford hasn't stopped making headlines for the wrong reasons this year. One persistent story involves an alleged $12 million siphoned off by the executive from Gearbox.

In newly surfaced documents from former Gearbox counsel Wade Callender's lawsuit against Pitchford, the $12 million that Gearbox initially denied a basis in reality has been discovered. And it's... complicated.

Basically, while the diversion was signed off on by 2K Games, Pitchford nonetheless diverted the bonus to his personal company, Pitchford Entertainment, Media, and Magic.

It's another confusing development in a thoroughly salacious lawsuit, for a man whose career of late has been an endless circus of nonsense.
