THEWET MARKET: This is the most authentic local Thai market in Bangkok, Thailand that I have been to so far.

Why I say it's the most authentic local Thai market is because of all the dried fishes, meat and herbs I saw them making at the market.

It's something that my mum does at home, so it feels very homely, authentic and fresh.

Not to mention, the people there were all lovely and very friendly. There was a great vibe there and I really enjoyed visiting this market.

If you want to feel what an authentic local Thai market is like, then I would highly recommend THEWET MARKET, if you don't have time to visit any other markets in Bangkok. You won't be disappointed, I sure wasn't.

It's also usually much busier in the early morning around 4MA-5AM.
