Woodturning The Giant Opal Eyeball

Woodturning The Giant Opal Eyeball Ever since getting my Easy Inlay Opals at Makers Central I have been very excited about this project, something I have had in my mind for some time.
The opals are man made but real opal and more stable than natural opals.
The opals are available from Scott Grove at Easy Inlay

The opals are also available in the UK from Peter Sefton

The resin used was Opticast 2000 from MBFG

Acrylic sanding sealer and Lacquer from Chestnut Products

The Merlin 2 is fro King Arthur's Tools

My pressure pot is from Sprayequipment
