Rains did not stop the Yoruba Village Drum Festival on Saturday, as dozens of attendees gathered at the Yoruba Square in Port of Spain to participate in the annual event. Head of the Emancipation Support Committee, Khafra Kambon, stressed the importance of preserving African traditions, as he says culture shapes the fabric of society.
