Eighteen year old Laura Williams recently became the youngest British woman ever to give birth to conjoined twins. Defying doctors’ advice to have an abortion, Laura and her husband Aled decided to go against early medical advice and the two baby girls named Faith and Hope were successfully delivered by caesarean section. Joined by the breastbone to the navel the twins had separate hearts and doctors were optimistic. However, due to medical complications doctors were forced to move quickly with the operation to separate the girls and tragically Hope and Faith did not survive.
This documentary follows the couple’s heartbreaking story as it unfolds.
