What does the flashing red light mean on a Dyson vacuum cleaner? Our Dyson V6 Fluffy+ handheld vacuum cleaner started flashing red... Sadly, I knew exactly what that means because we had a faulty battery before.
We called the Dyson helpline on 0800 2980298 and they said we would have to buy a new battery.
Even though this one lasted only one year and one month.
It cost us £65... and in this video I show how to remove the old battery and fit the new battery unit. (It's only 2 screws, it's easy).
The hardest part was paying the 65 UK quid.
