Police investigate after an unconscious man was dumped by unknown men boarding a probox

Police in West Pokot County are investigating a case where an unidentified male adult was yesterday found dumped at Chepkorniswo area along Kitale - Lodwar highway.
Cases of people being dumped along the road in West Pokot have been rampant with the recent one being of the late former Kapyego ward member of county assembly who was found killed and dumped at Kamatira forest one month ago.
Kipkomo sub-county officer commanding division Mr Mohamed Kofa said police officers are investigating on the matter and the person has been taken to Ortum Mission Hospital for medical checkup.
'Have received information concerning the unknown man and my officers are at the scene to check on what transpired,' he said
The person who was dumped alongside the road one week ago looked weary, with wounds on his legs, unconscious and he could not be able to walk.
When the Daily Nation visited the place the man was lying in the bush covered with a blanket and beside him, a pair of gloves were found.
According to one of the passersby the name Naomy Chepurayi- she said the person was dumped at the place last week on Saturday by unknown men boarding a probox and later speed off leaving the man in the bush.
