Mary is necessary because God chose for her to be necessary. Since Jesus is God and Mary is His Mother. Mary is the Mother of God. Mary is the Coredemptrix because she gave Jesus His Body and it is Jesus’ Body on the cross that saves us.
Mary and the Holy Spirit we’re present in both births of Christ. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary to bring Him into the world as a baby. And the Holy Spirit and Mary were present at Pentecost at the birth of the Church, which is known as the Mystical Body of Christ. The goal of Christianity for our lives is for us to become formed into Christ. When God does something once, He does it the same way again. God does not make mistakes. If we are to be formed into Christ, it must be the same way Christ was formed- through the Holy Spirit and Mary.
