If you find that you need some help with it, you'll want to check out my Beginner Guitar Course! More information here:
And there's my FREE eBOOK (which is free for all subscribers!) - You can use it to help you build a solid foundation: chords, switching, progressions, riffs, techniques... everything it takes to be a "good guitarist." You can find it here: (You'll also find my Lead eBook there, too!)

The lesson begins with the C and F shapes. We work out the switch and then add some strumming. Then we practice them together.
After that, I show you how to add some embellishments to the shapes and adjust the strumming a bit to incorporate that. Once again, we solidify this all with a quick play-along.
Then we go through the song, sequentially, working out all the bits that we don't know yet. Like the "If you try sometimes" bit, that goes over a D7sus4, into F... then it's back to our usual progression, but with a different strumming pattern. There are so many patterns in this one - it's very rhythmic music - and that's what makes this one a more intermediate tune.
Finally we learn the bridge, which is, once again, like its own section - a bunch of new chord shapes and another unique strumming pattern.
We talk about putting the whole thing together and that's that!
I hope you enjoy the lesson and I'll see you next time.
-James
