In this video, I'm going to be talking about 11 things every golfer needs to have in their golf bag at all times. Some of these are super simple and some of them won't be used much but you'll definitely be glad you have them when the time comes.
The first thing is a second golf glove for your bottom hand. This can come in handy if you have sweaty hands on a hot day or if you need some extra grip on a wet morning.
The second is plastic tees. I've had the same bag of tees for over 5 years now and that definitely wouldn't be possible with standard wooden tees.
Next is a permanent marker. It's always a good idea to draw a straight line on your golf ball to help with alignment on the tee and on the green.
After that comes using the right balls. Don't be the guy who shoots 110 but uses Pro V1 balls. Find the right ball for your game and you'll lower scores. I like Noodle and Srixon Soft Feel for average players.
You'll also want to get yourself some alignment rods. This can help you at the range or before you start your round. The more you do right before the swing the better.
The next thing is the hat. I don't like wearing a hat normally but on certain days I have to. I wouldn't want to forget to bring it so that's why I always have one in my golf bag.
You should also get yourself a yardage finder. Knowing the distance to the green and hazards is a simple way to lower scores by improving your distance control. You don't need anything crazy expensive and there's always the free phone apps.
