✍ With the liberal media disseminating images of crying children in response to a Wednesday raid by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that netted a total of 680 illegal immigrants, an exception made by the agency is getting far less press coverage. The raids were at several food-processing plants in Mississippi, making the immigration enforcement operation the largest single-state effort in U.S. history. And with the open border left quick to show the faces of children reacting to their parents being taken into custody, the Department of Justice said in a statement that nearly half of those taken into custody — 300 — were released after being asked whether they had children who needed to be picked up. Not only released, but returned to where they were detained. Pregnant women or those who hadn’t faced immigration proceedings previously were also let go.
