Defeating Pale Champion, a modded version of Pale Lurker created by Saleh / Hir Ngolwe to make the fight slightly more challenging. Instead of a brief fight for a simple key this is now a harrowing multi-phase fight filled with spikes, buzz saws, and aspids. Music was done by Zaliant (music at custom animations by Mino, and custom art (such as the Pale Lurker statue in the Hall of Gods) by Mola. Well done to them all!
This is actually a pretty poor kill as once I hit the final phase I dodge really bad (stupid dash at 4:01). The spike platform in the final phase rises when you get hit to make it harder. But I manage to survive and it shows the fight adequately. Definitely worth going back at a later time to try and clean up the final phase for a potential radiant kill.
Lifeblood Core is really handy for this fight as there aren't many better options. Range charms are often a liability. You do have an opportunity to heal 2-4 masks before the final phase (2-3 before the platform collapses and one before the final spikes come up), so LBC itself may not be entirely useful if you can make it to the end with soul to heal.
