Police officer ‘murdered’ after ‘hit and dragged by car’ while attending burglary

A POLICE officer has allegedly been murdered trying to stop a burglary in Berkshire last night.

Cops are quizzing a gang including a boy aged 13 over the killing, which has "devastated" PC Andrew Harper's family.

Tragic PC Andrew Harper, 28, was struck by a car and dragged along the road after he arrived on the scene at 11.30pm close to the A4 Bath Road, near Reading and Newbury last night....
