Beginning in 2014, three brothers have allegedly stolen more than Rs 2 crores from different banks, by setting up fake data firms over the past five years. The firms had more than 40 employees on payroll and took loans from ICICI Bank, Citibank and several others. It has been discovered that the apart from the firms themselves, even the ‘employees’ that were registered with them, were faked, using false images from Google and other forged details such as PAN card and fake Aadhaar card numbers.
