Tardies can hurt, Tardies can hurt sometimes
But so can an absence that’s unexcused
It can get hard, When you don’t get to class on time
Or when you don’t even show up, you just miss
You know there is a non-privileged list
You’re on the list when there’s six or more
Tardies that are unexcused, Absences that were misused
So check the list each week in the WAAG
So you can clear your tardies each day
In lunch detention, just be on time
And let me mention, for absences you have 30 days
to excuse them, or they will stay.
Weekends can heal, Saturday School can clear
Unexcused absences- or excused- do not fear
I swear it will get easier, So just be on time every piece of ya’

So that you will have a chance,
to go to the upcoming dance.
