Computer software that is user friendly for differently abled people | ILearn

Professor Isaac from the research wing of NIIT and his team creates a software that will allow specially abled individuals to access a computer with little to no effort. The software, ILearn is created to give an interactive learning experience for the specially abled individuals. With operation of the computer by touching a disc-shaped pad or movement of the hand and sounds for other options, it has made learning and education easier for both students and teachers. This software allows basic learning tools for those with difficulty in operating a computer and keyboard.

Professor Isaac: " Their capabilities are very very different, so the only way that you can really interact with them is to individualise education. Now for this, a teacher, it would too much of a problem for them to individualise, but for a computer it is ideal because the student can interact with it directly and keep at his own level, his rate of learning. Everything is controlled by him."
