In this spontaneous joining session we gather with willingness to look directly with Jesus—a symbol of Divine Light within-- at denials (desire) to deny that Light, Infinite Love, is here now. We listen for Jesus to speak through each participant as he leads us from delusion to truth. We start with the recognition of Light, and ask Jesus to reveal whether there is a desire to experience specialness and pain, unhappiness, unworthiness and the death wish-the desire for an experience of death. If he reveals that we do have a desire, we admit the desire and offer it to the Light for a miracle. As soon as it is seen that desire is a choice to deny what is here now, as Julia said, it is realized that everything is upside down. All the beliefs that there is something outside that causes pain or suffering fall away. Admitting desires is honesty of God. Desires for anything other than Light is the desire to deny the Light of Divine Being--God’s Will for perfect happiness. In Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM, Jesus points to the power of direct experience of the Light within to clear denials of divinity. He shares that all the beliefs that are denials of Divinity are given in A Course in Miracles, and translates these beliefs in ANC to denials so that we can look directly with him. In Light Circles we focus on the Light first, and in this Light beliefs and desires that seem to deny awareness of unconditional Love, our true nature, are quickly cleared. And if asked, Jesus will reveal the subconscious denials. This principle is being applied daily in the mornings in and the evenings via Zoom to ACIM Course lessons.
