It seems obvious, but sometimes take discipline to make it work. We are in a lazy habit of just feeding the goats the usual ration and not thinking about it. So they're in the habit of just eating pellet, and not really foraging and browsing like they need to be. Today we break those bad habits!

Ultimately I'd like to have them on a full rotational browsing plan to keep all the underbrush down in our woods. This will take way more planning and mobile fencing than we have time for now. As is, when I'm working outside around their pen, I let them out to browse wherever they want. We'll need to get them trained to an electric fence, and then set up paddocks for them to mow down and rotate through.
