But in the last few year Sinter Klaas has been getting a lot of backlash about the servant or the helper of Sinter Klaas called Zwarte Piet meaning Black Pete. Black Pete is a character that helps Sinter Klaas get his work done. But Black Pete looks black, has red lips, wears big hoop earrings and has a big black afro.
