Working OK This Time | 2004 OTIS w| Everbright @ Queensgate Shopping Centre, Lower Hutt CBD Any dedicated viewer would remember that this was the elevator I got stuck in during the Term 1 holiday period. Thankfully, it was working fine this time. This elevator used to have 2 sets of doors, but has since been converted to just one set, after the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake and some refurbishments in the mall, including the build of the new H&M store. This elevator is fairly unreliable, but most of it is due to heavy use (this is easily the most used elevator in the entire mall, with people having shopping trolleys and baby prams and whatnot). The Everbright buttons are not the best choice but they are tolerable. I would agree that the new 3-stage chime doesn’t sound too great (it’s a generic chime after all), but I actually don’t mind it. Reminds me of ThyssenKrupp’s 3-stage chimes (although those chimes go C, A, F instead of A, F♯, D). Thank god I didn’t get stuck a second time — if I did, never riding that elevator again!

Video 30/30 from the Term 3 school holidays (28/9/19 – 13/10/19). Last video from these 16 days I was off school, but don’t worry — I have more videos to come! Stay tuned on this channel!
