Here are 3 Ways I like to calm my mind from all the monkey chatter, without spending hour meditating. Some do not know how to meditate but really it does not have to be so complicated. The wonderful benefit to meditating is that you become more aware of your present moment thoughts without holding on to them.
Having a present awareness to those thought that come and go is a perfect way to TUNE INTO YOU!!
Step 1: Sit with your Sh*t. Actually sit on the toilet without your phone. You will become aware of what arises in your mind =)
Step 2: Listen to your favorite tunes. Listening to music is a great way to get your mind off that awkward conversation you had with your boss earlier today.
Step 3: Write in a journal. Get in tune with your creative side or write a letter to a loved one. Write some positive affirmations or what you are grateful for.
