Boeing to suspend 737 MAX production in January amid safety woes Aircraft manufacturer Boeing is temporarily suspending production of what was its best-selling plane, the 737 Max.

It was grounded worldwide in March, after two fatal crashes within five months.

The grounding has already cost the company $9bn.
