Can you be this sure if your career choice was right?

Can you be this sure if your career choice was right? How to choose a career? What is the right career option for me? How to find that career option?

Most of us ask ourselves these questions at one point in time or another.
Choosing a career path is a big decision to make. We often choose our career based on the advice given by our family, friends or seniors at college and might end up not liking our job and not feeling valued in it. There is a large number of people, who feel they work really hard, but don’t get a pay anywhere near the value of the work they deliver.

But what if I say your career can be as interesting as you played cricket as a kid?
That too if you can get started in a career based on your skills, resources, interests and the things you always like doing naturally? and also be very highly valued (have very good pay)?

Why participate in so much competition, putting a stress test to your competitive strength, and chase someone else dream career, when you can be unique in finding the right career option for you?

A few years ago, I thought the same when I was in my career confusion. That is when I came up with this method (which I discussed in the video) which helped me discover the perfect career option for me. I arrived at multiple fundamental qualities like handling dynamic situations, problem-solving, being creative and my core abilities like identifying a problem, critical thinking, coming up with alternatives. And after researching for a bit and trying to find multiple career options matching my skills, I found a new career option - Product designer or UI UX designer. (Simply known as UX Designer)

UX Designer job role requirements perfectly matched the job skills I have come up with using the method. It shocked me so much. The newfound UX Design field intrigued me very much. And with the help of multiple resources, online and offline, I learned how to get started in design and found a very good UX designer job.

Today, I'm working as a UX designer at Amazon India. I love my job very much, work never feels like work! It always feels like play! And… I am one of the highly paid people at Amazon India!
