Fitting a Universal Sling with leg loops rolling the person one way

Fitting a Universal Sling with leg loops rolling the person one way This is useful if the person has one side they cannot tolerate being rolled onto.
-Adjust the bed to a safe working height
-The person is rolled (onto their comfortable side) by both handlers, supported in a side lying position
-The handler facing the person's back places the sling on the bed, folded lengthways in half with the label touching the mattress
-The sling should be approximately 3cm away from the person's back
-The sling should span the length of the person's spine, from the lower neck to the coccyx
-The same handler holds the top leg piece and folds it upwards towards the head of the person
-Handler places the leg loop underneath the person's neck so that the handler on the other side of the bed can grasp it and gently secure it in place
-Handler folds the remaining upper part of the sling 3 times towards the person until such a point as the 'roll' can be tucked gently and slightly underneath the person's back
-Handler smooths out the 'roll' with both hands
-The person is returned to lying on their back
-The handler standing on the other side of the bed now takes hold of the leg piece of the sling positioned at the person's head and gently pulls the leg piece towards them and then down towards the foot end of the bed
-The sling will need to be 'smoothed out' under the person's shoulders and bottom. It may need to be pulled from both sides of the bed to complete the fitting of the sling (as shown in photo below)
-Both handlers to then do a final check that the sling is correctly fitted
