Lok Sabha Passes Citizenship Amendment Bill With 311 Votes In Favour, 80 Against

The contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha at midnight on Tuesday (December 10) with 311 votes in favour of the proposed legislation. 80 MPs have voted against the bill in the division of votes.
