In this online Math video Lecture, tutorial, tricks and shortcuts on Probability you will understand how to solve Probability problems based on Coin Experiment of Probability Experiments.

A coin has two sides to it : Heads (H) & Tails (T) which are nothing but the two outcomes of the event of tossing a coin.

There is a ‘one in two’ probability of getting a heads wen we toss the coin once.

Similarly, there is a ‘one in two’ probability of getting a tails too.

i.e both the outcomes are equally likely to appear and occur between 0 & 1.

If we add both the probabilities[1/2+1/2], then again we get 1. That means, this event clearly satisfies the sum of probabilities rule.
