In this first part of series of planned videos I start to introduce how I've built my live performance rig. With Serato DJ at it's heart, Ableton Live becomes the third deck, but if I'm going to take the performance out of my front room I want to do it with the minimum of equipment and set up.
With the P2D Session2 + MaxforLive device from Sigabort I can utilise the Push 2 screen to display my clips in Ableton Lives session view. Combine that with a Macrobat template courtesy of Clyphx Pro and the traditional objections to using a Push 2 to DJ with start to vanish.
