Taiwan Board Game Design: The Importance of Regular Playtest Session [Part 1]

In Essen SPIEL you can meet so many people that love board games. That includes the players itself, families, kids, illustrators, community and of course the game designers from around the world.

This time we invite Smoox Chen from Taiwan Boardgame Design (TBD) in Essen SPIEL 2019 to Archipelageek (Indonesian booth). Taiwan just a small island but have many board game enthusiasts, and some of them become game designer. Smoox is the founding father of Taiwan Boardgame Design.

We had a chance to interview him and in this first part, we talk about how is the board game community in Taiwan, and how they become popular from year to year.
