KNUT and KUPPET condemn killing of a primary school

Kenya National Union of Teachers and Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers have condemned the brutal murder of a teacher in Mutitu Kitui East. At the same time two suspects linked to the killing of the teacher will remain in police custody for 21 days pending conclusion of investigations into the crime committed on Monday. Wambua Mwangangi and Chris Kyalo Muli are suspected to have been part of a mob that killed Daisy Mbathe and then burnt her body to ashes. She was a teacher at Ndooni primary school.
