Protesters gather outside ICE detention center in Marysville

A group of more than 100 protesters gathered outside the Yuba County jail Saturday demanding the county end its contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE pays Yuba County to house detainees that are awaiting immigration hearings before possible deportation. The detention center is the only facility of its kind in Northern California. The protest was organized by a group called Tsuru for Solidarity.
