US promoting Indo-Pacific to contain China: Sergey Lavrov

Speaking at the Raisina Dialogue organised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Observer Researcher Foundation (ORF), Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said 15 January the Western countries, specially the US, have failed to address issues at the G-7 and hence the need was felt to create G-20. He also slammed the concept of 'Indo-Pacific' saying it was a concept created only to counter China.
