You can see an an alleyway home at 8:36. I suspect the reason why these houses aren't increasing too quickly is cost of construction ($300,000 plus) and an increase in property tax. Why make a new living quarter for that old person in the family, when you've got a whole empty basement? We start our walk on West 46th Avenue (near Granville Street). When we get near Oak Street we take a right into an alleyway. By the end of the video we are on Cartier Street.
