43:00 - Starting Live Chat Following on from the interesting conversations we had at our first You Tube live chat with young people interested in our work, we had another one on the 24th April at 18:30 on our CORC YouTube Channel.
Our first chat was all about acknowledging as an organisation we want to do more to involve and listen to young people throughout all the work we do. We discussed what outcome measures were, what some of the research is around youth mental health and what our next steps should be as a niche organisation wanting to incorporate young people into our work.
To those of you who were involved and joined our conversation - thank you! You can watch our February Live Chat here.
In our next chat we specifically talked about the role of outcome measures and how they are currently used. We were thinking about what a young person CENTRED measure would look like and how we could make them more directly useful for young people, alongside services. Outcome measures are often used to provide the service with information about a young person’s mental health, but could they also be a tool to give children and young people information about themselves, their feelings, changes in emotions and what may be causing those changes?
These are the types of questions we wanted explore with you!
