Physician Assistant: Don't be a "barely there" applicant!

Physician Assistant: Don't be a Peace be to you all (AsSalama'laikum)! Due to the HIGHLY competitive nature of the PA school application process, it's important that pre-PA students understand the need to have ALL MINIMAL requirements completed before applying to PA school. This is IF you want to be an applicant who is taken seriously by the admissions committee. I am an erstwhile PA program instructor and admissions committee member. Please don't set yourselves up for avoidable disappointment WHEN you are not granted an interview or, you get rejected!😭😰😡There are simply TOO MANY applicants for PA programs to choose from. Make sure you have: 1) at least the minimal number of direct-patient-contact-hours, 2) ALL of the pre-requisite classes 3) the minimal GRE scores, if required. PLEASE, check with EACH program to which you are applying to make sure you have followed the SPECIFIC requirements for THAT PARTICULAR school! I cannot STRESS THIS ENOUGH! EACH PA program is slightly different in what they require! I wish you all the VERY best of succes in your positive endeavors and, invite you to check out my YouTube channel if you have an interest in medicine, and careers in allied health or, living a positive lifestyle.
I can be reached on Instagram, Facebook, LinkdIn, and Twitter. You can also email me at OAbdulMali@aol.com
