Ask Risa Ep.19: How Many Wedding Florals Do You Need?

Ask Risa Ep.19: How Many Wedding Florals Do You Need? #AskRisa #WeddingPlanningAdvice #WeddingFlowers

Before you meet with a wedding florist to discuss your floral needs, it's worth taking 10 minutes to sit down and make a list so you don't forget anything. Here's a little cheat sheet to help you.

* Personal flowers: bouquets for bride and bridesmaids, flowers for flower girls, corsages for mothers or other female family members, boutonnières for groom, groomsmen, ring bearers, fathers, other male family members.
* Table centerpieces: take your total expected guest count and divide by 8 to figure out roughly how many tables you will have. Don't forget about the sweetheart or head table.
* Accent arrangements: welcome sign, entryway/foyer display, guest book/gift table, escort card table or signage, favor table, bar/beverage station/bar menu, buffet tables, cake table, and cake.
* Ceremony: arch decor, arrangements on pillars, petals to line the aisle, small arrangements to hang on the end of chairs, fabric swag between chairs, petals or lavender for guests to toss.
