Uasin Gishu county Governor Jackson Mandago wants manufacturers to compelled to come up with eco-friendly ways in managing waste disposal. He said that they have a key role in tackling environmental pollution.
He disclosed that the Council of governors and ministry of the environment were working on a policy proper waste disposal and management to compel industry players to be held responsible in disposing of waste to the environment.
The governor also encouraged residents to plant trees to ensure that protect the environment and ensure stable climatic conditions.
