Acquainted with the Night by Robert Frost (1874-1963)

Acquainted with the Night by Robert Frost (1874-1963) Published in 1928, this poem gives voice to 'nightbirds' who work (maybe at their creative best) whilst burning the midnight oil. The rhyming scheme is that of a 'terca rima' where the middle line of each tercet (3-line stanza) provides the rhyme ending for lines one & three of the following stanza. The last line repeats the first line.
